Marsha Bailey

Marsha Bailey is a social work professional with over 25 years’ experience in Child Protection, Family interventions and Community Interventions. Marsha holds a Master’s in Business Administration from University of Bedfordshire, as well as a Masters in Social Work, from University of the West Indies- St Augustine. Her first degree in Social Work is from the UWI with a specialisation in Social Policy and Psychology. Ms. Bailey has a Certificate in Sustainable Community Development from the Arthur Lok Jack School of Business.

Her early years was spent at National Family Services and followed by Children’s Authority of T&T where she was involved in policy formulation for the Adoption and Foster Care Unit, after the Proclamation of the Children’s Authority; Marsha moved on to Student Support Services Division as the Social Work Specialist.

Marsha has served as a former Director of the Lake Asphalt 1978 Limited and the Children’s Authority of Trinidad and Tobago. Ms Bailey served as the Manager of Social Services at the HDC before coming over to FEMCol. She has a passion of people and community empowerment. Her love for DIY projects, Christmas is matched by her commitment to her role as the Chairman of St Jude’s Home for Girls and serves as a Member of the Cabinet Appointed Committee for Children in Need of Supervision.
